George Ferguson, past President of the Royal Institute of British Architects, was co-founder of Ferguson Mann Architects and founded the national UK wide network of practices, Acanthus. He became the Mayor of Bristol in 2012.

Gustavo Petro is the Mayor of Bogotá since 2011. His goals for his tenure as mayor form the four pillars of his five-year plan for the city, entitled ‘Bogotá  Humana’. These pillars include also the commitment to climate change adaptation.
